About the Role
In the Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management function, you will develop and execute procurement strategies for commercial building projects such as offices, retail spaces, industrial facilities and mixed‑use developments. The role involves identifying, evaluating and onboarding qualified suppliers and contractors, maintaining vendor relationships, conducting performance reviews, and negotiating contracts, pricing and terms to optimize cost and quality. Procurement Operations duties include processing purchase orders and requisitions for construction materials, MEP systems, architectural elements and specialized equipment, while coordinating with project managers, architects and contractors to meet timelines. You will monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules, ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards and sustainability requirements, and conduct market research and price analysis to support cost management and budgeting. Contract Administration requires drafting, reviewing and managing procurement contracts, ensuring compliance, handling change orders, and collaborating with legal and finance teams on terms and payments. • Develop and execute procurement strategies for commercial building projects. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors. • Maintain vendor relationships and conduct regular performance reviews. • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize cost and quality. • Process purchase orders and requisitions for construction materials and equipment. • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to understand requirements and timelines. • Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to prevent project delays. • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements. • Conduct market research and price analysis to ensure competitive procurement. • Track and report procurement metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery compliance. • Prepare budget forecasts and variance reports for procurement activities. • Identify opportunities for bulk purchasing and value engineering. • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, purchase agreements and service contracts. • Ensure contract compliance and manage change orders. • Coordinate with legal and finance teams on contract terms and payment schedules.
