About the Role
The GMP Operations Cleaning Supervisor role is responsible for sanitizing controlled areas in accordance with internal procedures, cGMP standards, and SOPs to maintain sanitary conditions for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. This full‑time, on‑site, exempt position is bonus‑eligible and requires strict adherence to quality standards and regulations. The supervisor manages a union crew of 8‑18 staff, providing oversight, training, and technical guidance while ensuring compliance with SOPs, GDP, and cleaning practices. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, verifying disinfectant rotation, maintaining accurate cleaning logs, disposing of waste, and ensuring supply availability, all in collaboration with Manufacturing, GMP Operations Manager, and Quality teams. • Oversee daily cleaning activities for a union crew of 8‑18 staff in GMP‑controlled environments. • Train new cleaning personnel and provide refresher instruction on sanitization practices. • Enforce SOPs, GDP, and cGMP compliance by reviewing and archiving cleaning logs and documentation. • Verify proper disinfectant rotation and usage for each cleaning assignment. • Manage daily waste disposal from GMP manufacturing areas. • Ensure availability and organization of sanitization supplies and equipment. • Collaborate with Manufacturing, GMP Operations Manager, and Quality teams to schedule cleaning tasks. • Complete gowning qualification tests and adhere to EHS and PPE requirements.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include clear oral and written communication (bilingual a plus), the ability to read and write English documentation, teamwork, strong customer service, knowledge of cGMP and GDP, attention to detail, excellent attendance, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred candidates have prior experience cleaning biopharmaceutical GMP environments. • Communicate clearly in oral and written form and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers. • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong attendance, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Compensation is estimated at $81,000‑$87,000 annually, and the role does not provide visa sponsorship.
