Job Highlights
About the Role
This role is a two‑year fixed‑term contract and plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely time capture and payroll outcomes across a large operational workforce. Working within a centralised time capture and payroll environment, the position supports employees, supervisors and managers to ensure timesheets are processed correctly, exceptions are resolved promptly, and payroll deadlines are met. • Process and validate employee timesheets (manual/electronic) ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Resolve exceptions, missing data, and discrepancies to support payroll timelines. • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to address time capture issues and provide guidance. • Maintain accurate records and data integrity across time capture and payroll systems. • Respond to employee and stakeholder queries on time capture and payroll matters. • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance activities as needed. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process simplification and best practice sharing. • Support delivery of high‑quality service outcomes within People Services and Business Services Centre.

What You Bring
The role requires strong attention to detail, a customer‑focused mindset, and confidence working with payroll systems, rostering tools and business stakeholders. It also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, data quality and service outcomes. • Experience in time capture, payroll, rostering or workforce administration in a complex/high‑volume setting. • Familiarity with payroll or time‑and‑attendance systems (e.g., Kronos) desirable. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure. • Clear, confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Customer‑focused mindset and problem‑solving ability.
