Assist Resident Engineer in design review & construction supervision of bridges/viaducts in Dubai.

About the Role
• Supervise construction of bridges, viaducts, and related structural works. • Review shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and related correspondence. • Coordinate with Parsons design engineers to resolve technical issues. • Maintain daily diaries and inspection reports. • Schedule resources and liaise with contractor engineers. • Direct and monitor inspectors and surveyors, ensuring accurate records. • Chair meetings with authorities, contractors, and subcontractors. • Enforce safety procedures and achieve project safety goals. • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. • Verify as‑built drawings and manage handover of structural works to service authorities.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a highly talented Structural Engineer to assist the Resident Engineer with design review and construction supervision of structural works for Dubai infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering and possess at least ten years of experience supervising bridge and underpass construction, with the ability to review technical submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications. • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university. • Minimum 10 years’ experience supervising bridge and underpass construction. • Ability to review material submissions, analyze lab reports, and ensure compliance with specifications. • Proficient with engineering and construction software and general computer literacy. • Excellent written and verbal English communication with strong technical writing skills. • Experience overseeing major bridge and infrastructure projects in the Gulf region. • Prior engineering consultancy experience in UAE/GCC.
