About the Role

• Accountable for the planning function on allocated projects or tenders. • Ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored. • Support project management to deliver on time and within profit targets. • Plan medium‑to‑high complexity projects or sections of larger programmes. • Lead the application of planning and scheduling methods, techniques and tools. • Apply earned value management and other project controls methodologies. • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams and stakeholders. • Influence complex requirements and provide analysis with corrective measures. • Lead and manage a team delivering planning and schedule management services, fostering professional development. • Influence clients to accept proposals and recommendations. • Undertake tasks required to fulfil project or assignment requirements.

What You Bring

• Familiarity with New York transit agencies such as PANYNJ, NJT, MTA, LIRR and Amtrak. • Relevant degree in engineering, construction management or significant industry experience. • Experience in heavy civil programmes, including tunnelling. • Experience on FTA projects (highly preferred). • Experience delivering programmes or portfolios valued over $1 bn (advantage). • Professional membership in APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent. • Extensive experience planning construction projects and programmes. • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise. • Strong commercial and financial acumen. • Leadership experience managing large, diverse teams. • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders. • Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations for projects. • Experience working with PANYNJ, NJT, MNRR, LIRR, NYCT and MTA.
