About the Role
The Regional Occupancy Planning Manager leads transformational occupancy excellence for a designated region, overseeing a high‑performing team of planners and aligning space with the overarching workplace strategy. Reporting to the Workplace Experience Director, this leader serves as the primary regional client contact, proactively addressing current and future space needs while facilitating cross‑regional collaboration. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include mentoring senior occupancy planners, collaborating with directors and stakeholders to deliver innovative strategies, and managing multiple projects such as large‑scale restacks, consolidations, and expansion initiatives. The role also involves developing sophisticated occupancy models, forecasts, and comprehensive reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to leadership and clients. • Lead and mentor a team of senior occupancy planners to foster innovation and continuous improvement. • Develop and implement complex occupancy solutions such as large‑scale restacks, consolidations, and expansion projects. • Create sophisticated occupancy models, forecasts, and reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to leadership and clients. • Serve as primary regional client contact, addressing immediate space needs and proactively identifying future requirements. • Collaborate with Workplace Experience Director and regional stakeholders to align projects with workplace strategy. • Apply advanced workplace design principles, including agile and flexible concepts, to drive regional optimization. • Present complex data and recommendations to senior leadership and high‑level clients with strong executive presence.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, with 10+ years of occupancy planning experience and at least 5 years in a management role. Strong leadership, advanced knowledge of hybrid workplace design, excellent presentation skills, executive presence, and proficiency in CAFM/IWMS, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools are required. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, experience leading regional operations or P&L responsibility, expertise in advanced data visualization or predictive analytics, a proven change‑management track record, and relevant professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, IFMA, CoreNet, or PMP. The position is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of three onsite days per week. Compensation is estimated between $160,000 and $200,000 annually, and the role does not offer visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Interior Design or related field and 10+ years of occupancy planning experience. • Demonstrate at least 5 years of management experience leading high‑performing teams. • Possess advanced proficiency in CAFM/IWMS systems, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools. • Preferred: Master's degree, regional operations or P&L leadership, expertise in data visualization or predictive analytics, and relevant professional certifications (FMP, CFM, IFMA, CoreNet, PMP).
