About the Role
Job Summary: The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes, ensuring reliable delivery of services. The role requires operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe truck. Drivers complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, report any unsafe conditions, and follow company protocols for incidents and service calls. Participation in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings is mandatory, and drivers work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem accounts. They also assist fellow drivers, communicate customer requests, and ensure containers are emptied, positioned upright, and the site is left free of debris, completing all required documentation at the end of each route. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck safely in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the DVIR and report any issues promptly. • Communicate safety concerns, incidents, and customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers upright with lids secured. • Complete route assignments, documentation, and assist other drivers as directed. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings; take advantage of annual education assistance.

What You Bring
Qualifications: No formal education or prior experience is required, but a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B and a minimum age of 18 are mandatory. Applicants must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical exam, background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record. The position may require travel by air or access to federal property, so candidates must possess a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative, or be willing to obtain one. • Hold a valid CDL B, be at least 18 years old, and maintain an acceptable driving record. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. • Obtain or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel and federal‑property access.
