About the Role

Provide leadership, oversight, and mentoring for project engineering teams delivering both large and small project designs. Lead teams of designers and discipline‑specific engineers to produce complete electrical and physical layout design packages. Serve as an expert in leading design projects and packages for large turnkey electrical projects. Manage engineering design deliverables to meet project schedules, design budgets, accuracy requirements, and submittal completeness. Ensure value‑added engineering on complex projects while monitoring overall engineering schedules and team utilization. Act as a technical leader, offering guidance and mentorship to Project Engineers, Project Managers, and customers. Support scope development, estimation of engineering deliverables, subcontractor coordination, bid leveling, and process/procedure development. Assist the Project Operations Leadership Team with regional hiring, staffing, training, performance evaluation, and utilization planning. Contribute to financial cost control and monitoring of engineering efforts. Require a BS in Electrical Engineering, Professional Engineer license, and at least seven years of design/construction experience. Candidates must reside in PA, NJ, WV, NY, MD, or DE, possess constructability knowledge, familiarity with NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA standards, and hold PMP certification. • Lead design teams to deliver complete electrical and physical layout packages for large and small projects • Manage engineering deliverables to align with schedules, budgets, accuracy standards, and submittal completeness • Ensure value‑added engineering, monitor project schedules, and optimize team utilization • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Project Engineers, Project Managers, and customers • Support scope development, estimate engineering deliverables, coordinate subcontractors, and conduct bid leveling • Develop processes and procedures while contributing to regional hiring, staffing, training, and performance evaluations • Control engineering costs and monitor financial aspects of projects

What You Bring
