About the Role
• Install, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation systems using Direct Digital Control technology. • Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on tools and technology. • Serve as local technical contact and provide solutions for complex system issues. • Deliver turnkey projects on medium to large scale, ensuring proper operation of controls, sensors, and software. • Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports. • Manage time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. • Communicate and document project status and details for customers. • Provide site‑specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.

The Master Field Engineer role is critical to the Critical Systems Data Center Team, responsible for field commissioning of custom building automation systems. The position requires strong teamwork, time management, communication, technical, and troubleshooting skills, and serves as a technical and product expert on complex issues. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED. • Possess at least 5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC, or a related technical field. • Able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and hold a valid driver’s license. • Willingness to travel up to 80 % of the time within the U.S. • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or technical certificate in HVAC, Controls, or related field (preferred). • Proficiency with advanced building automation software (e.g., WebCTRL) and BACnet/Modbus protocols. • Experience with mission‑critical BAS/EPMS deployments and construction/commissioning platforms such as CX Alloy, Procore, or Autodesk Build. • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and wireless networking. • Ability to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

The role offers a salary range of $96,750 to $135,250, with up to 80 % travel within the United States and the possibility of short‑term cash incentives.
