About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads a team of service and contract technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role supports the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems, managing projects, and providing training and mentorship to junior staff. Key duties include ensuring a safe work environment, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems and associated control components, managing work orders with detailed labor and parts data, leading preventative‑maintenance audits, and fostering positive relationships across the operations facility. • Promote safety by adhering to all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, motor starters, limit switches, solenoids, etc. • Create, assign, and close work orders, recording labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative‑maintenance procedures while mentoring junior technicians. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years’ experience with material‑handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and blueprint reading, as well as three years using a CMMS and two years with PLC programming. Experience in a team‑lead capacity, vendor management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required; an associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical fields and robotic maintenance experience are preferred. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lb, work at heights, kneel, squat, and use PPE such as hard hats and composite‑toe shoes, with regular travel between sites. Compensation ranges from $35.96 to $42.30 per hour, with additional benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement plans, and paid time off.
