About the Role

The senior associate will focus on opportunistic corporate‑level and direct hotel real‑estate acquisitions for the Brookfield Strategic Real Estate Platform (BSREP), while also gaining exposure to other investment strategies across Brookfield’s platforms. The role supports the North America hospitality portfolio of over 29,000 guest rooms and contributes to the broader global hospitality presence in Europe, the UK, Asia and Australia. • Perform complex financial analysis and valuations for hotel acquisitions. • Conduct market research to support investment decisions. • Lead due diligence streams and manage transaction closings. • Prepare and present investment committee memoranda and recommendations. • Collaborate with junior and senior team members, senior management, affiliates, and investors. • Network with investment bankers, brokers, owners, and brands to source deals. • Coordinate with the asset management team to ensure smooth post‑closing transitions.

What You Bring

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, hospitality management or a related field. • Possess 4–7 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, real estate investing, or private equity. • Demonstrate exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills. • Exhibit strong attention to detail, quick learning ability, and excellent communication. • Be self‑directed, motivated, and able to work independently and in teams. • Show proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Have extensive knowledge of hotel operations and capital markets, with a track record of hotel transactions. • Possess leadership qualities, a business‑building mindset, and unquestionable ethics.
