Financial Analyst (Product Development)
Financial Analyst focusing on staff costing & payment performance
Job Highlights
About the Role
The position works closely with corporate finance, finance systems and the wider business to analyse financial data and present it in a widely usable format. • Act as SME for staff costing. • Lead preparation and reporting improvements of supplier payment performance. • Run monthly reconciliation of actual salary costs to project costings. • Coordinate updates to staff rate cards. • Support redesign and streamlining of the staff costing model. • Assist Finance Business Partners in month‑end staff costing queries. • Collaborate with GL and Payroll accountants to ensure timely, accurate salary cost reflection in P&Ls. • Prepare and analyse monthly and half‑yearly payment performance statistics for internal review and reporting. • Work with AP and procurement to verify payment performance data accuracy. • Contribute to the payment performance task force. • Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to support the wider finance function. • Analyse invoice and payment data to identify process issues and control weaknesses. • Build working relationships with internal stakeholders. • Support net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing associated emissions during delivery.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience using Oracle and Cognos TM1. • Knowledge of financial accounting, corporation tax, income tax and GST.
