About the Role
The Project Delivery team manages a wide variety of projects from feasibility through concept, detailed design and construction support, working within high‑performing interdisciplinary teams. In this role you will help grow the Queensland Water Group, contribute to bid preparation, develop strong client relationships, and support the development of junior staff while maintaining an excellent project delivery track record. • Deliver complex water infrastructure projects within interdisciplinary teams, contributing to financial success. • Influence project delivery decisions and challenge existing approaches. • Collaborate with senior engineers, technical leads, design managers, and other project managers to maintain excellent delivery performance. • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals. • Build strong client relationships by providing valuable business solutions and understanding client needs. • Foster a positive team culture and support junior staff development. • Maintain technical knowledge of water infrastructure such as networks, treatment plants, water resources, dams, pumped hydro, or civil heavy infrastructure. • Prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines.

What You Bring
With multiple long‑term contracts and career‑defining projects secured with key water authority clients, the Water Group is expanding and seeking an experienced Delivery Manager (Project Management) to join the Brisbane or Gold Coast offices. The ideal candidate holds a tertiary engineering qualification, a project management certification or is actively pursuing one, has consultancy experience—preferably in the water sector—and demonstrates proven delivery, leadership, technical understanding of water infrastructure, strong organization, financial competency, and the ability to manage client relationships.
