About the Role
The Sr. Capture Manager role drives strategic growth and secures enterprise‑level pursuits for the Water Global Business line. Reporting to the Strategy and Growth lead, the position provides visionary leadership, develops winning capture strategies and coordinates multidisciplinary teams across regions. The role offers flexible remote/virtual work with travel as needed. • Lead consultative sales process to win major pursuits with competitive win strategies. • Analyze competitive landscapes and refine strategies using win/loss insights. • Promote collaboration across multidisciplinary, regional and global teams for client‑focused outcomes. • Ensure partnership between technical, marketing and bidding staff for proposal best practices. • Champion full sales lifecycle, maintaining quality assurance and Go/No‑Go rigor. • Coordinate strategic marketing campaigns aligned with key opportunities. • Ensure compliance with commercial, financial, legal and governance contract elements. • Drive accountability for sales metrics and high capture rates. • Align AECOM initiatives with client sustainability, resilience and innovation priorities. • Build and maintain a diversified pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with business strategy. • Build trust with client decision‑makers and internal stakeholders including CAMs, marketing, bidding and executive leadership. • Leverage strong market and technical knowledge to enhance opportunity relevance. • Communicate pursuit priorities clearly to executive and regional leadership to secure resources. • Guide technical, bidding and marketing teams to create compliant, persuasive content. • Partner with Client Account Managers and business line reps for strategic positioning. • Drive growth by capturing new business and renewing/extending existing accounts. • Champion ethical, safe practices and align initiatives with client expectations. • Translate client innovation agendas into AECOM solution positioning. • Set schedules, milestones and budgets for bids, overseeing delivery and reviews. • Coach and mentor capture team members, enhancing capture management skills. • Foster diverse, inclusive teams that leverage AECOM’s global footprint for collective success.

What You Bring
• Direct discovery, pre‑positioning, differentiation and delivery strategies for transformative programs. • Understand commercial contract elements including pricing, legal risk and governance. • Hold a bachelor’s degree with extensive senior‑level experience. • Possess at least 12 years of relevant experience, including 4 years leading business‑development strategy teams. • Demonstrate ability to meet sales metrics and craft compelling value propositions. • Proven track record of winning major pursuits and leading multidisciplinary teams. • High energy, outgoing, self‑motivated with consultative sales expertise. • Relevant industry background and experience in a global matrix organization.

The position is based in Dallas, Texas (Hybrid work model) with an expected compensation range of $185,000‑$285,000, dependent on location and qualifications.
