About the Role
The Associate Photographer role services the Homes.com and Apartments.com marketplaces by capturing 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans, and high‑quality photographs of residential homes and apartments. Photographers are equipped with a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital gear, and an iPad, and they operate within a core territory, meeting scheduled appointments to scan properties and produce marketing imagery. The position collaborates closely with clients, sales, logistics, and a remote Photography Manager. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints for Homes.com and Apartments.com listings. • Produce high‑quality interior photographs that showcase homes and apartments. • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointment flow. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales teams, researchers, and management to set priorities. • Survey assigned market grids to identify missing commercial real‑estate inventory for photography. • Follow CoStar safety protocols to protect company vehicles and equipment. • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. • Lift, carry, and maneuver photography equipment weighing up to 5 lbs throughout the workday. • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions using tablets, laptops, and camera gear. • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adhere to a rotating weekend schedule.

What You Bring
The job requires up to eight hours of driving, standing, and walking daily, with the ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to five pounds. Repetitive hand and arm motions are needed for tablet and camera operation, along with occasional bending, stooping, and twisting. Photographers must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and follow a rotating weekend schedule. Candidates need at least two years of professional experience, specifically in real estate photography, and a background as a photographer or a recent photography degree. A FAA Part 107 drone license (or one obtained within 30 days of hire) is required, along with strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and communication skills. Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record are also essential. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record for vehicle operation. • Hold at least two years of professional real‑estate photography experience. • Possess a FAA Part 107 drone certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire). • Demonstrate strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and data‑entry accuracy. • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and organizational abilities. • Be proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
