About the Role
The Regional Operations Manager oversees a skilled‑trades operation for an assigned region. The role focuses on driving team engagement, developing and implementing processes, meeting service‑level agreements, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements. In the people‑leadership capacity, the manager directs a team of technicians, handles hiring, retention, performance management and compensation recommendations, and conducts regular safety talks and training. They also provide technical support and ensure work is performed in line with internal and external standards. Operational duties include managing budgets and weekly work‑order expenditures, collaborating with stakeholders to refine standard operating procedures, and recommending technologies that boost efficiency. The manager deploys technicians to projects, monitors performance against SLAs, works with dispatch and CMMS teams, and resolves issues with urgency to sustain client satisfaction. • Lead and develop a regional team of skilled‑trade technicians. • Manage operational budgets, focusing on cost control and weekly work‑order spend. • Create, refine, and implement standard operating procedures and process improvements. • Deploy technicians to projects to meet timelines, service‑level agreements, and quality standards. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and all applicable regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with dispatch and CMMS teams to optimize service delivery. • Investigate and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction. • Provide technical support and mentorship across refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing trades.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a community‑college diploma or equivalent training and possess 8‑10 years of trades‑operations experience, with a minimum of five years in a supervisory role. Technical expertise in refrigeration, electrical or plumbing, current knowledge of regulatory requirements, and strong leadership, negotiation and computer skills are required. Relevant journeyman licences are considered an asset. • Demonstrate 8‑10 years of trades operations experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role. • Hold relevant journeyman licences or certifications (refrigeration, electrical, plumbing) as an asset.

Benefits
This full‑time position offers a salary range of $108,068–$135,085, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, education and performance.
