About the Role

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician A performs repair and maintenance on diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. This includes chassis components, refuse bodies, control, hydraulic and electrical systems, air‑brake systems, engine work, HVAC components, and suspension, drivetrain and steering systems. The role offers training on new technologies, a regular shift in a stable industry, competitive wages, and the opportunity to support drivers and serve the community.

What You Bring

The technician maintains advanced knowledge of vehicle components and performs complex repairs both on‑site and on the road. Key duties include chassis component repair, refuse body and hydraulic system maintenance, engine repair, suspension, drivetrain and steering work, heating and air‑conditioning service, and line‑maintenance welding and fabrication. The technician diagnoses malfunctions with electronic tools, completes required company training, and performs other job‑related tasks as assigned. Applicants need at least three years of experience servicing heavy‑duty trucks and must be able to inspect and repair systems such as suspensions, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions with minimal supervision. ASE Heavy‑Truck certifications, LNG/CNG experience, and a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License are preferred but not required.
