About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and oversees all aspects of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management. As the on‑site leader, the manager ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards and fair‑housing regulations while fostering a positive resident experience. • Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; create weekly schedules and address performance issues. • Drive net operating income by controlling costs, optimizing revenue, and preparing annual budgets and forecasts. • Create and execute annual marketing plans; lead leasing activities, resident retention programs, and handle resident complaints. • Oversee accurate administrative and leasing reporting; manage emergency response, maintenance requests, and property appearance. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies; supervise risk‑management and vendor invoice processing. • Must work overtime, weekends, and on‑call emergencies; lift and move objects up to 25 lb; operate machinery, vehicles or golf carts as needed. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring
The role requires a high school diploma (college degree preferred), relevant housing‑industry experience, and certifications such as CAM or ARM. Candidates must be able to work overtime, weekends and on‑call emergencies, possess reliable transportation, and meet physical demands such as standing for long periods and handling items up to 25 lb. • Require High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred); 1–4 years housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred.
