About the Role
The HSE Coordinator acts as a front‑line safety professional, conducting inspections, observations, investigations, training, and ensuring regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA. This position supports personnel across all departments. • Advise and counsel on regulatory compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws and company standards. • Inspect facilities, tools, equipment, and machinery to identify hazards and ensure OSHA/DOT/Cinterra compliance. • Assist management in investigating safety incidents, injuries, illnesses, and motor vehicle accidents to determine causes. • Develop mitigation measures and corrective actions to eliminate recurring hazards. • Conduct and facilitate safety training, meetings, and education programs for supervisors and field staff. • Administer training records and documentation to maintain compliance with safety policies. • Recommend safe work processes and demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment. • Ensure all tools, equipment, vehicles, and instruments are functional, calibrated, and equipped with necessary safeguards.

What You Bring
The role is field‑based and requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds, often in extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, or wind. Employees must have visual clarity at 20 feet and be able to distinguish colors. • Minimum high school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience; knowledge of utility construction standards, regulations, business and customer service principles. • Ability to assess costs, risks, and benefits, solve problems, negotiate, monitor performance, and communicate effectively. • Required visual acuity (20/20 at 20 feet) and color discrimination. • Degree and at least 2 years of solar‑related safety experience (preferred). • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred). • OSHA Outreach Training Instructor (Construction) certification (preferred). • Current or pursuing OSHA 10, 30, 510, or 500 certifications (preferred).
