About the Role

• Create basic electrical designs and perform equipment selection, load/energy, and pressure‑drop calculations under senior guidance. • Conduct field inspections, assess existing conditions, and assist senior engineers with due‑diligence and feasibility reports. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain communication with internal designers, clients, architects, vendors, and consultants. • Develop specifications, system narratives, and layout drawings, adhering to company drawing standards. • Assist in determining project schedules, manpower needs, and budgets; process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda. • Establish system application, design, and operational parameters and sequences. • Oversee QA/QC processes for own work and that of others. • Perform construction administration tasks, including detailed field inspection reports.

What You Bring

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II‑III for our San Diego office, who will progress from basic design tasks to more complex assignments while collaborating closely with senior engineers, designers, and the full multidisciplinary team. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. • 1.5–6 years of MEP experience on projects such as aviation, healthcare, commercial, or mission‑critical facilities. • Proficiency with the latest AutoCAD MEP and Revit versions; strong MEP drafting and markup skills. • Familiarity with trade‑specific design and analysis software (e.g., eQuest, Trace) and basic system selection knowledge. • Understanding of applicable codes and construction documentation requirements. • FE certification; FE preferred. • Experience in mission‑critical, science‑technology, or healthcare sectors and interest in project management is a plus.
