About the Role
The Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets Company safety standards before each shift, adhering to all Company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties involve conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tires, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and reporting any safety concerns. The driver safely navigates designated routes, operates the compactor, loads and unloads refuse, and may handle hazardous and non‑hazardous materials, including operating a hydrovac unit when required. Interaction with customers is courteous and professional, and the driver tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans spills, and maintains productivity standards to ensure timely service.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to stay focused in a busy environment, and safe driving practices. Required qualifications include a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement, current 40‑hour HAZWOPER training (or the ability to obtain it), a DZ license, and 2‑4 years of related driving experience.
