About the Role

The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the full‑cycle operation of an assigned housing community, including personnel supervision, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, administration and risk management. As the on‑site leader, the manager ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards and fair‑housing regulations while delivering a high‑quality living experience for residents. • Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; manage schedules and address performance issues. • Maximize net operating income through cost control, revenue enhancement, budgeting and timely rent collection. • Create and execute annual marketing and leasing plans; show units, process applications and ensure accurate lease documentation. • Resolve resident complaints, implement retention programs and maintain high resident satisfaction. • Oversee administrative reporting, coordinate emergency response, and ensure timely maintenance of property appearance. • Direct maintenance, construction and rehabilitation projects, ensuring quality, expediency and proper vendor management.

What You Bring

Successful candidates typically hold a high school diploma (a bachelor’s degree or related housing experience is preferred), possess certifications such as CAM or ARM, and are proficient with on‑site software and basic computer tools. The role requires the ability to work overtime, weekends and nights for emergencies, and reliable transportation for on‑call duties. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or four years housing experience preferred; CAM or ARM certification desirable. • Demonstrate knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements and basic computer/software proficiency. • Ability to work overtime, weekends, nights, and respond to on‑call emergencies; must have reliable transportation.
