About the Role

• Prepare engineering drawings (arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics) using CAD from sketches or design information per established standards. • Reference technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies. • Become familiar with standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME. • Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for drawing preparation.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a talented Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2026. Under the direction of a degreed engineer, the intern will perform basic to moderately difficult engineering support assignments, transforming notes, specifications, and rough sketches into working drawings. Assignments are designed to develop practical knowledge of equipment, facilities, and systems within the civil engineering discipline. • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a GPA greater than 3.25/4.00. • Demonstrate strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Expected graduation after September 1, 2026. • Ability to commute to the Atlanta office four days per week. • Ability to pass a government background check; no security clearance required.
