About the Role
Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must be able to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman. • Eliminate waste including waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Ask a supervisor before continuing if unsure about work aspects or safety practices. • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. • Safely and effectively use or operate work‑related tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities in tasks, methods, and processes and learn from others. • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively at all times. • Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. • Stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects frequently. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs occasionally. • Participate in an employee stock ownership plan and 401(k). • Participate in workplace wellness programs. • Contribute to the Sundt Foundation, a charitable employee‑owner program.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate effective math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). • Hold NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred). • Possess 1‑3+ years of experience in industrial/commercial construction (preferred). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and vest. • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently. • Work up to a 12‑hour shift performing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
