About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The role also includes ensuring the vehicle complies with safety standards before each operation and adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations. Key duties involve conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to load and compact refuse, and disposing of material at the designated facility. Drivers interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, clean spills, and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. They also complete required route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports while following safety policies and participating in the ReSOP program. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs). • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes, load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely and professional service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for prohibited items. • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports accurately. • Adhere to all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and follow company regulations.

What You Bring
• Hold a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through skills.
