Job Highlights
About the Role
The Territory Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees installation and service operations across an assigned territory. This role aligns tactical execution with top‑down strategic guidelines to ensure operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization. The manager leads field service technicians, installation specialists, and subcontractors while maintaining safety and licensing compliance. Key duties include monitoring team workload, optimizing resource planning to meet SLA requirements, and escalating staffing needs to the Regional Manager. The manager ensures completion of training, certifications, and licensing for personnel, coordinates installation schedules and subcontractor resources, and supervises van inventory to support first‑time‑fix rates and cost targets. Alignment with sales and business operations, mentorship of team members, collection and reporting of performance metrics, and execution of customer communications are also essential. The role oversees approximately 600 installations and 3,000 service calls per year within a territory spanning two to three U.S. states or Canadian provinces, generating roughly $3.5 million in annual revenue. Responsibilities include monitoring scheduling activities, managing scope changes, risks, and issues, ensuring project completion and deliverable submission, and overseeing permitting and licensing compliance.
