About the Role
The Project Manager II role at QISG oversees design‑build and EPC projects from inception through completion, managing the prime contract, coordinating engineering, design, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams, and supervising field operations. The PM II ensures compliance, resolves disputes, and handles contract administration, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Responsibilities include directing integrated DB/EPC teams, overseeing engineering design and construction activities, managing contracts and subcontracts, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards, preparing performance reports, handling value engineering, procurement coordination, schedule development, change management, progress payments, and project close‑out while mentoring junior staff. • Lead integrated Design‑Build/EPC teams from project initiation to completion. • Direct intermediate and final engineering design and construction activities. • Administer prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. • Plan, execute, and report on overall project performance and schedules. • Coordinate with customers to maintain communication and satisfaction. • Conduct value engineering, constructability reviews, and audit subcontractor work. • Oversee procurement, bidding, and subcontractor scope, pricing, and scheduling. • Review and approve subcontractor and PO invoices and submittals. • Manage change orders and develop project Schedule of Values. • Prepare and present monthly progress, budget, and schedule reports. • Lead project close‑out, warranty administration, and post‑construction cost review. • Mentor and train junior staff.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with at least eight years of construction project management, preferably in power delivery DB/EPC projects. They need deep knowledge of transmission, distribution, and substation work, engineering and contracting processes, budgeting, safety, quality, and the integrated EPC lifecycle. Strong problem‑solving, communication, organization, and team‑building skills, as well as proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, are required. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 8+ years of construction project management, preferably on power delivery DB/EPC projects. • Extensive knowledge of transmission, distribution, and substation materials, methods, and equipment. • Proficiency in engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding, and contract administration. • Strong problem‑solving, team‑building, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office. • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality best practices in the power industry.
