About the Role
In this role you will lead structural design across a variety of building types, provide technical input and expertise, mentor junior staff, and present complex solutions to clients. You will also conduct site visits, perform quality‑control reviews, develop technical proposals with budget and schedule estimates, and ensure compliance with permitting agency and client design standards while managing your workload independently under manager supervision. • Lead structural engineering on diverse building projects. • Provide technical input and design expertise. • Mentor and train junior staff on structural design and constructability. • Communicate and present complex technical solutions to clients. • Conduct construction site visits to monitor progress. • Perform quality control reviews and sign off on deliverables. • Develop technical proposals with budget and schedule estimates. • Review permitting agency standards and client design standards for compliance. • Organize workload and work independently under manager supervision.

What You Bring
B+P’s expertise spans strategy, design, and project realization for signature projects such as FAA, NASA, USPS, Georgia Ports Authority, worldwide fueling facilities, MARTA, data centers, and Fortune 500 companies. Project types include air traffic towers, stations, laboratories, data centers, fuel storage tanks, and other complex structures. The minimum requirements are a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, six years of relevant experience, a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) status, and U.S. citizenship. Preferred qualifications include recent experience on buildings and facilities projects, proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit, and ten years of experience on large, complex building developments. • Hold a bachelor's degree in structural engineering and 6+ years of experience. • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in structural engineering. • U.S. citizenship required. • Experience with ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, RISA; AutoCAD and Revit desirable. • Preferred 10 years experience on large, complex building development projects.
