About the Role

• Conduct site visits, inspections, and field surveys to support design and construction phases. • Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one‑line diagrams, and load calculations. • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, etc.). • Provide construction administration support. • Use engineering design software such as Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD. • Foster a collaborative environment where ideas are freely shared and contributions are valued.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer for our New York City office to support the design and construction of mechanical systems. The role offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary environment, advance technical skills, and contribute to projects that uphold the firm’s reputation as a top A/E firm. • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. • 2‑4 years of relevant mechanical design or construction experience (preferably ~3 years). • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NYC Building Codes, ASHRAE). • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software. • EIT certification in progress. • Ability to work independently with general guidance from senior engineers. • Self‑motivated, able to multitask and meet project deadlines.
