About the Role
The role supports Sales Area Canada by executing marketing and sales activities, creating and optimizing campaigns, and advancing Sandvik’s shift toward a digitally focused marketing strategy. The professional will attract and engage new and existing customers through digital media, social platforms, events, trade shows, and one‑to‑one marketing while ensuring all efforts are on‑brand and aligned with business goals. Key responsibilities include planning and executing in‑person trade shows, conferences, and product launches, coordinating sponsorship activities, maintaining an events calendar, and developing online advertising campaigns using Google Ads and Google Analytics. The role also involves creating digital trade media content, producing advertisements, managing social‑media channels with both paid and organic strategies, and serving as the brand usage approver for Sales Area Canada. Additional duties cover creating and scheduling channel‑appropriate content, driving audience growth and engagement, responding to community interactions, tracking internal success stories for the intranet, and ensuring compliance with Sandvik brand guidelines and environmental, health, and safety policies. • Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, and product launches, handling logistics and contractor coordination. • Coordinate sponsorship activities, develop content, and implement audience‑engagement strategies. • Maintain a comprehensive events calendar and oversee online advertising campaigns using Google Ads and Google Analytics. • Create digital trade media content such as testimonials, interviews, editorials, and white papers. • Produce digital advertisements aligned with campaign objectives and monitor CPM, reach, impressions, and click‑through metrics. • Manage Sandvik Canada’s social‑media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) with paid and organic strategies, content creation, scheduling, and community interaction. • Serve as brand usage approver for Sales Area Canada, ensuring all materials comply with brand guidelines. • Track and publish internal success stories on the Sandvik intranet.

What You Bring
Candidates must be able to travel 5–10% within Canada and internationally, possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English (bilingual French is an asset), and have advanced expertise in social media management, marketing automation, and Adobe Creative Suite. The position requires a highly independent, detail‑oriented individual who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with remote teams, and supervise contractors. Applicants should have at least three years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, and event coordination, as well as familiarity with platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Falcon, Pardot, or Hootsuite. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, English, or a related discipline is preferred. • Travel 5–10% domestically and internationally as required. • Demonstrate strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; bilingual English/French is a plus. • Possess advanced proficiency in social‑media management, marketing automation tools, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Bring at least three years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, and event coordination, plus familiarity with platforms like Marketo, HubSpot, Falcon, Pardot, or Hootsuite.
