Electrical Engineer
Maintain and service low voltage electrical systems for Rolls‑Royce contract in Bristol.

About the Role
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low‑voltage electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, security, emergency lighting, and access control. • Perform regular testing and inspection of low‑voltage systems to ensure compliance with standards, safety regulations, and codes, and document results. • Diagnose and resolve faults in low‑voltage systems using appropriate tools, carrying out repairs and replacements as needed. • Execute planned preventive maintenance to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and extend system lifespan, maintaining schedules. • Follow health, safety, environmental policies and electrical regulations, reporting hazards or incidents promptly. • Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to meet project goals and provide guidance to junior staff. • Keep accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory up to date. • Maintain a solid understanding of health‑and‑safety obligations related to maintenance activities.

What You Bring
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to perform service maintenance works on our Rolls‑Royce contract in Bristol. The successful candidate will deliver a professional service to clients, working with a varied selection of electrical systems. • Hold C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and the 18th Edition qualification. • Possess C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 test and inspection certification (preferred). • Demonstrate strong electrical and HVAC experience, including knowledge of heating, air‑conditioning, and building fabric with ability to perform basic fabric repairs. • Be willing to work out‑of‑hours when required. • Exhibit good communication, organisational skills and a positive “can‑do” attitude. • Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
