CAD Designer
Design and draft MEP/Federal project drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.

About the Role
In this role you will assist in preparing and supporting design plans for projects of varying complexity, from CAD and Revit drawing set‑up to arc flash and coordination studies. You will also prepare specifications for final engineer review and finalize CAD sheets, XRefs, and title blocks for deliverables. Key duties include producing engineering drawings using current AutoCAD versions (MicroStation knowledge is a plus), reviewing sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to ensure they conform to design concepts, and assisting engineers with technical studies. You will contribute to timely completion of drawing and update tasks, perform CAD production, operation, and QA/QC, and work closely with other disciplines on multi‑discipline projects while maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of drafting software and hardware. • Prepare and support design plans, including CAD/Revit set‑up and arc flash/coordination studies. • Create specifications for engineer review and finalize CAD sheets, XRefs, and title blocks. • Review sketches, drawings, and specifications to ensure design compliance. • Assist engineers with technical studies and daily CAD production, QA/QC. • Coordinate with multi‑discipline teams and manage client/sub‑consultant CAD issues. • Perform fieldwork, documentation, research, and drafting as directed.

What You Bring
The position requires a high school diploma and specific CAD training; more experienced candidates are welcome and salary will be commensurate with experience. Required skills include proficiency with AutoCAD, familiarity with MicroStation, experience in plotter configurations, page setups, and plot styles, as well as strong written and verbal communication and general office software proficiency. • Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD; MicroStation knowledge is a plus. • Requirements: high school diploma, CAD training, AutoCAD proficiency, MicroStation familiarity, plotter and page‑setup experience. • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with office software.
