About the Role

• Program and install residential cable and internet systems. • Install and configure home automation systems. • Troubleshoot, service, and repair security and AV installations. • Perform scheduled and emergency service calls in occupied homes. • Install and terminate low‑voltage, CAT4/CAT5 (CAT5e/CAT6), and fiber cabling. • Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently and professionally on site. • Follow all company and job‑site safety standards. • Maintain reliable communication, customer service, and professionalism. • Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 50 lb. • Climb ladders and work at heights, including attics and crawl spaces. • Stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, and reach for extended periods. • Work in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and confined spaces.

The role requires a motivated, detail‑oriented professional who can work independently in occupied homes, providing installation, troubleshooting, and emergency service. • Minimum 2–4 years of low‑voltage, security, and AV installation experience. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, testers, and ladders. • Must pass required safety training and comply with all regulations. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship. • Possess sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity for technical tasks. • Experience with home automation platforms. • Fiber termination and testing expertise. • Background in residential construction or occupied‑home environments. • Must hold the required low‑voltage technician license.
