About the Role

Responsible for inspecting parts and detecting dimensional and visual abnormalities using industry standards while adhering to AS9100:16 principles. The role involves confirming quality using handheld and programmable measuring equipment, understanding tolerances and selecting appropriate gauges, interpreting blueprints and GD&T callouts, performing first‑piece inspections, maintaining inspection records, and following all workshop and safety rules. • Confirm quality using handheld measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gauge, gage blocks, Trimos height gauges, etc.). • Confirm quality using programmable measuring equipment (CMM). • Interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts. • Perform first‑piece inspections. • Retrieve prints, FCD forms, and inspection checklists. • Record labor on hour‑by‑hour sheets, KPI boards, or assigned locations. • Follow all workshop and safety rules.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2‑3 years of quality/inspection experience. The position is subject to ITAR and requires applicants to be U.S. Persons as defined by the regulation. • Understand tolerances and select appropriate resolution gauges. • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 2‑3 years of quality/inspection experience required. • Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee).
