About the Role

The Small Works (SMWX) Project Engineer role is based in Brisbane and reports to the Solution Delivery Manager within the Digital Energy Business. The position is responsible for engineering and commissioning small‑works projects, specifically Building Management Systems (BMS), and for delivering work to site‑standard or national engineering efficiency program (EEP) standards while adhering to Schneider’s Customer Project Process.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, strong in problem solving, and results‑driven. Required qualifications include tertiary or trade training in a mechanical, electrical or electronic discipline, knowledge of BMS principles, experience creating design documentation, and the ability to commission BMS controls alongside HVAC commissioning. Strong communication skills, IT network and structured cabling knowledge, a valid Australian driver’s licence, and preferably an electrical licence and defense clearance are also required. The role welcomes motivated, customer‑oriented individuals; while prior building‑automation experience is valued, training can be provided for the right candidate.
