About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. They ensure the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards before each operation and adhere to all company, state, and federal regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports are completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reporting safety issues, and driving the truck along designated routes to service customers. The driver loads and compacts waste, operates the compactor, and disposes of material at the proper facility while maintaining courteous interactions with customers and dispatchers. They also identify unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for issues, clean spills, keep the vehicle clean, and complete required route and productivity reports. Participation in the ReSOP safety program and other job‑related tasks are expected.
