About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager will aid the project team with constructability reviews, value engineering, pay‑app evaluations, schedule development, and FF&E program execution. Responsibilities also include assisting with design, bid, and construction phases, conducting pre‑bid and job‑start meetings, monitoring contract compliance, facilitating site meetings, and handling close‑out activities and occupancy support. • Assist with constructability review and value engineering • Evaluate pay applications and develop project schedules • Support FF&E program development and execution • Help formulate design, bid, and construction phase schedules • Conduct pre‑bid and job‑start meetings under supervision • Monitor contract compliance and report concerns • Facilitate on‑site meetings and prepare minutes • Ensure governmental approvals are obtained and documented • Perform close‑out activities and assist with occupancy • Prepare field reports for project manager review • Execute QA/QC processes and review change orders • Check RFIs and submittals for completeness before distribution • Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management • Maintain and update as‑built drawings • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders • Read and interpret blueprints accurately • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently • Build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients
