About the Role

The technician must independently diagnose problems, repair failures, and adjust equipment operating parameters. Responsibilities range from routine preventative maintenance to precise work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, ventilation, electrical, and electronic systems. • Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment and processes. • Perform detailed preventative maintenance operations as specified. • Prepare requisitions for spare parts and maintenance supplies. • Interpret drawings, layouts, manuals, sketches, or verbal instructions. • Work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and process ventilation systems. • Carry out millwright, moving, pipe‑fitting, and plumbing work, including high‑ and low‑pressure systems. • Operate trucks, man lifts, forklifts, and other powered vehicles while maintaining documentation. • Interact with internal customers and provide timely status updates.

All work must comply with ISO standards—ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001—and adhere to Sandvik’s safety policies. Candidates need at least five years of electromechanical experience, a two‑year associate degree in electronic technology, and forklift certification. The position may require lifting up to 50 lb and performing other duties as needed. • Diagnose problems with PLCs, vision systems, and complex control logic. • Accurately complete clerical tasks in the Work Order System.
