Driller Helper

About the Role

The field technician will conduct standard penetrometer testing operations, including performing borings and geoprobes, and will be responsible for locating bore sites, recording drilling data, and reporting any project‑specific issues to the project manager or supervisor. Daily duties also include maintaining and loading the drill rig and support truck, completing time sheets and field paperwork promptly, and ensuring all assigned vehicles and equipment are clean and well‑maintained. The technician must follow all safety procedures, uphold professional behavior and quality standards, and be willing to work out of town or on non‑standard schedules when required. • Perform standard penetrometer testing, including borings and geoprobes • Locate bore sites in the field • Record required drilling data • Report project-specific issues to manager or supervisor • Maintain drill rig and support truck; report repairs • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment • Load drill rig and support vehicle each day with supplies • Complete time sheets and field paperwork promptly and accurately • Clean and care for assigned vehicles and drilling equipment • Maintain professional behavior and quality standards • Work out of town and on non‑standard schedules as needed

What You Bring
