About the Role
Technicians work in an outdoor warehouse environment, handling hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials. They load and unload drums, totes, and containers from trucks, sample their contents, and consolidate materials into larger containers for processing. Forklift operation follows company safety standards, with training provided. • Load and unload drums, totes, and containers of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste from trucks. • Sample and record the contents of drums, totes, and containers. • Consolidate drum contents into larger containers for processing. • Operate a forklift safely (company‑provided training; license not required).

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least two years of related experience and be able to complete a 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification upon hire. The role requires proficiency with heavy and light equipment such as forklifts and pallet‑jacks, as well as competent use of hand and shop tools. An intermediate understanding of hazardous material classes, waste codes, and RCRA regulations is essential, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely. A valid driver’s license may be required for certain positions. • 2+ years of related waste‑handling experience and ability to complete 40‑hour HAZWOPER training. • Proficient with heavy and light equipment such as forklifts and pallet‑jacks; skilled with hand and shop tools. • Knowledge of hazardous material classes, waste codes, and basic to intermediate RCRA regulations. • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and adherence to safety policies. • Valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
