About the Role
In this role you will lead the technical sales process for our DTM (Design to Manufacturing) electrical design software across North America. You will develop and execute sales plans, qualify leads, manage pipelines, and forecast sales using CRM tools while collaborating with product, engineering, implementation, and support teams. Responsibilities also include conducting demos, workshops, pilot programs, and industry events, training internal sales teams, mapping customer requirements to our solution stack, and guiding deals from discovery through contract negotiation and hand‑off to delivery. • Lead technical sales of DTM (Design to Manufacturing) electrical design software in North America. • Develop and execute sales plans; qualify leads, manage pipeline, forecast and report using CRM tools. • Conduct product demos, workshops, pilot programs, industry events, and trade shows to generate leads. • Train internal sales teams on the DTM platform to increase opportunity generation. • Translate customer requirements into solution configurations, ROI/TCO analyses, and business cases. • Prepare proposals, statements of work, pricing, and negotiate contracts through to close. • Support customer onboarding, training, and adoption to ensure success and reduce churn. • Collaborate with product, engineering, R&D, and implementation teams to align roadmap with customer needs.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation or a related field, or has equivalent software sales experience, and brings at least three years of outside software sales, business development, solutions engineering, or pre‑sales experience—preferably in electrical design software. Experience with electrical CAD tools, strong communication of technical concepts to both engineering and executive audiences, and the ability to produce ROI and TCO analyses are essential. The role requires remote work, 25‑50% travel across North America, and a valid driver’s license. • Minimum 3+ years of software sales, business development, or solutions engineering experience in electrical design software. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or equivalent experience. • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and business value to engineering and executive audiences. • Experience with electrical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) is helpful. • Willingness to work fully remote and travel 25–50% across North America; valid driver’s license required.
