About the Role
Job Summary: The employee safely operates an articulating off‑the‑road haul truck or dump truck and is responsible for preventative maintenance and a pre‑shift walk‑around of the equipment to ensure safe operation. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time. • Maintain high proficiency in all related equipment preventative maintenance. • Identify improvement opportunities in tasks, methods, and learn from others. • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively at all times. • Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment and information are available for the work. • Read and understand safety and quality standards and effectively use trade tools and equipment. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb.

What You Bring
Sundt is looking for a Parts Runner in our Phoenix, AZ location. This role requires a CDL license and offers compensation ranging from $25 to $35 hourly, based on experience. Candidates must pass a background check and a drug screening. • Minimum three years’ experience in industrial/commercial construction with deep knowledge of various truck operations. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.). • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below the waist. • Work up to a 12‑hour shift performing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
