About the Role
• Design roadway geometry, drainage, and pavement systems. • Develop and implement Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans. • Perform engineering calculations and ensure code compliance. • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. • Conduct site visits and field investigations. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. • Mentor junior engineers and support proposal development. • Ensure project quality, schedule, and budget adherence. • Participate in public meetings and obtain necessary permits.

What You Bring
The New England Transportation group is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead roadway and highway design projects. Responsibilities include developing geometric, drainage, and pavement designs, creating Maintenance of Traffic plans, and collaborating with state, local, and municipal clients across the region. • Hold a BA/BS in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience. • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in MA or obtain reciprocity within six months. • Preferred: 6 years of roadway design experience and proficiency with OpenRoads or Civil 3D. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
