About the Role

The Logistics Analyst coordinates drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity, and deliver prompt, courteous service. The role also oversees safety, customer experience, and overall productivity. Key duties include ensuring compliance with safety policies, analyzing daily route information, and using the internal routing platform to adjust routes for efficiency and accuracy. The analyst monitors route closures, verifies data, and proactively resolves issues that arise while trucks are in transit. Continuous communication with drivers is essential to track progress, address performance concerns, and safeguard company assets. The analyst works closely with customers, ensuring promises are met and service commitments are fulfilled. By designing routes that comply with hours‑of‑service and weight regulations, the analyst helps reduce missed pickups and improves overall customer satisfaction. Daily updates to the call center and clear communication of any route delays keep customers informed. • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. • Analyze and adjust daily routes using the internal routing platform to improve efficiency. • Monitor route closures and verify data accuracy. • Communicate proactively with drivers to track progress and resolve transit issues. • Manage driver safety, performance concerns, and asset security. • Collect and analyze logistics data to enhance routing accuracy and profitability. • Respond to missed pickups, educate drivers, and develop strategies to prevent future failures. • Optimize route capacity and swing routes to maximize profitability. • Coordinate disposal plans and ensure adherence to assigned disposal sites. • Collaborate with Operations Manager on disposal recommendations and service requests.

What You Bring

Successful candidates possess strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software and experience in a customer‑facing or dispatcher role are required; two years of leadership‑type dispatch experience is preferred.
