About the Role

The Business Manager, Property Operations supports regional property portfolios by improving operational efficiency, financial performance, and compliance. Working closely with regional and site leadership, the manager oversees occupancy management, maintenance oversight, financial controls, and regulatory compliance to meet Asset Living standards and client expectations. • Support resident retention and renewal workflows while addressing concerns and escalations promptly. • Administer tenant‑based voucher programs and ensure related compliance. • Monitor maintenance follow‑up, service quality, and resident satisfaction; ensure timely work orders and preventive maintenance. • Oversee delinquency, collections, and rent recovery processes, adhering to jurisdictional move‑out timelines. • Track and report capital expenditures against approved budgets. • Manage invoice processing, including PO‑to‑invoice matching and coordination with Accounts Payable and vendors. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Asset Living policies; support lease enforcement, evictions, and resident dispute resolution. • Collaborate with Regional Portfolio Managers, Community Managers, and Leasing teams to drive key performance indicators. • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a high‑school diploma (a bachelor’s degree in business, real estate or a related field is preferred) and a minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily property or asset management. Required skills include proficiency with Yardi, RealPage, MRI or similar systems, strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace abilities, and knowledge of leasing operations, financial management and regulatory compliance; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. • Demonstrate proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits
