About the Role

The primary purpose of the position is to plan and prepare work packages for the Clean Energy Center’s maintenance activities, ensuring work is performed safely, reliably, and efficiently while complying with the Quality Assurance manual, company policies, and applicable codes and standards. • Develop and issue work instructions for corrective, preventive, and surveillance maintenance. • Select, approve, or recommend procurement of materials needed for work packages. • Conduct field walkdowns to identify maintenance needs and refine work package quality. • Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve package issues. • Prepare and submit required permits and documentation (OOS, RWP, welding/grinding, fire, ALARA, regulatory, NOS, etc.). • Verify work instructions comply with CEC procedures, nuclear safeguards, ASME code, and 10CFR50.59 requirements. • Update maintenance procedures to support package development and ensure code compliance. • Manage project activities for system planners or contractors during package preparation. • Participate in work‑control meetings, schedule reviews, troubleshooting, risk assessments, and peer reviews. • Provide emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support outage activities as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and must meet access and medical requirements. A current or prior Senior Reactor Operator license with comparable experience is also acceptable. Preferred applicants have five years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.
