About the Role

The journeyman plumber will assemble and install various pipe materials—including PVC, cast iron, copper, screw pipe, and gas pipe—using methods such as couplings, pro‑press, grooved, fused, clamps, bolts, solvent welding, soldering, and brazing. Responsibilities include working on domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm, natural‑gas, acid‑waste, and condensate systems, as well as underground installations, while interpreting contract and shop drawings. • Assemble PVC, cast iron, copper, screw pipe, and gas pipe using couplings, pro‑press, grooved, fused, clamps, bolts, screws, solvent, soldering, and brazing. • Install domestic water, sanitary waste & vent, storm, natural‑gas, acid‑waste, and condensate piping systems. • Perform underground plumbing installations. • Interpret contract and shop drawings to guide pipe installations. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow company, jobsite, and OSHA safety regulations. • Conduct pre‑fabrication work and material takeoffs. • Lead and train plumbing apprentices. • Provide reliable transportation and personal tools.

What You Bring

The role requires at least four years of commercial project experience, an OSHA 10 certification, the ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted, ladder climbing skills, reliable transportation, and personal tools. Candidates must demonstrate a strong safety focus and excellent attendance, and they will be expected to lead and train plumbing apprentices. • Minimum four years of commercial plumbing project experience. • Hold OSHA 10 certification. • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lb without assistance. • Capable of climbing ladders safely.
