About the Role
• Develop and implement a communications plan aligned with Autodesk’s technology and business priorities, collaborating with marketing and internal communications. • Create and execute an executive thought‑leadership platform, leveraging media, events, speaking opportunities, and owned channels. • Build and maintain relationships with top‑tier, trade, and industry media, analysts, and influencers within the D&M ecosystem. • Craft executive content such as keynotes, talking points, briefing books, and presentations that convey vision and priorities. • Partner with PR managers and employee communications to oversee content creation, review cycles, and distribution across channels. • Define clear objectives and KPIs to measure communication effectiveness. • Align messaging across regions, business units, product, and marketing teams to reinforce Autodesk’s technology strategy and culture.

What You Bring
The position is based in the Americas, preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for the right candidate. Approximately 30 % travel is expected to support regional initiatives and stakeholder engagement. • 12+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably in B2B technology. • Proven track record supporting senior‑level executives and leading PR strategies that drive business goals. • Strong media‑relations expertise with a history of securing high‑impact coverage. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience thriving in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment. • Global communications experience across multiple regions and markets. • Experience mentoring or leading junior communications professionals or agency teams. • Background in design, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial software industries.

Benefits
Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $138,000 to $246,840 for U.S. candidates, plus potential bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, financial, wellness, and paid time off.
