About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with lift attachments to transport waste or recyclable containers, often weighing over 1,000 lb, and must navigate high‑traffic, congested environments while performing skilled backing maneuvers; residential drivers handle household waste and roll‑off drivers manage large open‑top containers. • Operate vehicles in compliance with WM Safety, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR). • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and service interruptions to management or dispatch. • Attend required trainings, briefings, and meetings as directed. • Communicate customer requests, fully empty receptacles, and leave sites clean and debris‑free. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and assist other drivers as needed. • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing.

What You Bring

Benefits
The position offers a pay range of $21.00 per hour plus display of earnings (DOE) with a schedule of Monday through Friday starting at 5:15 am and occasional Saturdays.
