About the Role
During the internship you will work on a high‑functioning team, providing design services for a variety of projects while receiving guidance, supervision, and mentorship from experienced engineers. The program has a strong conversion rate to full‑time employment for successful interns. The role includes creating engineering and construction drawings with MicroStation or AutoCAD, performing basic engineering calculations, entering data into analysis software, and participating in field inspections of roadways and highways. What You Bring
Candidates must be enrolled in an ABET‑accredited undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering program (or related field) and show interest or prior experience in roadway and highway engineering. Required skills include basic CAD proficiency, spreadsheet use, interpretation of design drawings, technical writing, and strong verbal and written communication. Preferred qualifications include working proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation and experience with engineering analysis tools like Civil 3D and HEC‑RAS.
